Day 26 The Fun One

I have no problem admitting that John's the "fun" one in our family. He's always up for an adventure or outing. He likes to go and see and do and go some more. I'm more of a low key kind of fun, which is sometimes, less fun for kids.

The last couple days while I have been laying low and recuperating from a cold, John's been taking the kids out having fun. They went bowling, they went shopping, they went to an aquarium, they sampled makeup and cologne in department stores, they went out to eat. . . They had lots of fun!

I got some rest, made something new to eat ( roasted butternut squash) and we had a little family game time to end the weekend.  Game time is my low key kind of fun but I'm glad the kids have both of us to give them a good variety of adventures. ☺️💜💚
