This weekend we did some organizing upstairs and cleaned out a few things. After I came downstairs, John stayed up there for a while working on a project. After a while, I called up to him and asked what he was doing. He replied that he was painting. He had decided to freshen up the paint upstairs, to make it look especially nice and clean. After 3 years of living here, there were scuff marks on the walls, crayon marks, etc. That was a really helpful thing for him to do, huh?
He got the touch up paint from the garage that was marked "upstairs" and went to town. He covered lots and lots of spots, all throughout the play room, the hall, bathrooms and Cameron's room. The other kids rooms are different colors, so he didn't paint in there. (thankfully) Anyhoo, he noticed that the colors didn't match when he started to apply the paint, but continued on, assuming that they would match once it dried. After all, it was labeled as upstairs paint.
Well, wouldn't ya know it, NO such luck. . .
Helpful or not?You be the judge.

So so sorry Ang!
I had to laugh out loud because it is so John! Good luck painting your upstairs!
that is hilarious. i kind of did the same thing when we had the builder fix some of the drywall in our hallway. i gave them the wrong can of tan paint and then had to pay them to come back and fix it since it was my bad. painful to the pocketbook.
LOL!!! You could tell people that you were going for that 80's Art Deco look. Hmm... maybe not! Well, you gotta love him for trying!
