We have some very good friends in FL that need some support, so we're trying to help get the word out. Our friends have a son the age of our son Austin who is autistic. He is a beautiful little boy with a fabulous family. They all hold a special place in our hearts.
Where they live in Florida, there's a school dedicated to teaching and helping children with Autism work toward a promising future. It is called Piece by Peace Learning Center. Our friend's son has attended there and done very well. This important school is now struggling amid the poor economy and faces the possibility of closing. If that happens, who knows how long it will be, before someone has the courage to again stand up for the speechless. We need the help of all those who at some point cross the path of someone with Autism. That means everyone. The answers are out there. Please help keep this school alive, to promote more schools just like it.
