My favorite quote for today . . .

to the lives of others

cannot keep it

from themselves."

to be continued. . .

So, my great idea of catching up my blog will have to be continued. My computer crashed this past week. I have to send it away to be repaired and it's gonna be a little while. When I get it back, I'll re-load pictures from my back up and maybe then I'll begin thinking about preserving my memories on my blog once more.

Until then, I suppose this blog is to be continued.

Behind...

So much has happened, it's hard to know where to start. Christmas came, John got a new job, Brooke turned 7, Aunt Karae came to visit, Uncle Rob came for a visit, weddings got planned . . . and the list goes on. It's been a busy life around here. Obviously a little too busy tp allow for my personal time blogging. I plan to get to the updates a little at a time and try to get all caught up soon... so, more to come, soon. I hope. :-)

Nativity

We had a fabulous visit with family this past weekend. We attended a gorgeous display of over 1000 nativity scenes from around the world.

There were so many beautiful ones, it's hard to name favorites.

This live one made up of our kids and some of their cousins will be one we won't soon forget though. It was fun for all and very cute!

Proof...

It snowed in Austin last week. Here's the proof.

We saw it, falling down in thick flakes! Our kids ran and played in it with delight. It lasted about an hour, then it stopped. Nothing stuck. That's ok though, because it was a fun treat while it lasted, and then the sun came back out.

We sure love living in Austin!

Front yard fun...

Everytime we get near the door, Cameron is ready to go outside. He just LOVEs to be outside. So, this day we just lingered and I let him wander around to his hearts content.

He wanted to climb trees, so we did that. He collected rocks, picked up sticks, dumped out our cats water dish, and l00ked f0r bugs.

It was a good time. He's quite the little outdoorsman. :-)
